our offense hasn't looked in sync all season. Nothing like last season. We will be a scary team once that happens.

having given this some thought--- I will agree that our offense has plenty of room for improvement. And if that was what all the other threads-- like the ones about Amarri are really about-- OK-- I agree, we can play better and will play better.

As for Rod-- I think we need to stop bashing the guy. Why not bash Frey while we are at it. They were loyal members of CJLs staff and while we may not have thought Rod in particular was very adept or helpful, it's kind of hard to judge that without being inside the coaching staff itself. Rod is gone-- let's be grownups.

Does anybody feel that Rod Smith helped them to bait Grothe with the two interceptions? Is it just me?

I thought if he just threw the passes a little longer it would have worked out.  Same with the almost INT in the first.

The offense is clearly better without him.

We actually line-up in formations other than Shotgun and the Singleback.

We got the Bull-bone (aka wishbone) and I even saw some I-form last friday!!!!

All that spreading the ball around is exactly what our offense (the spread) is gonna do when you are always switching out personnel

rod smith was worthless...  how sad is it when the fans can call the play about to happen, and we don't even watch film?

he whored the qb draw and the hb up the middle.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
