I'm not really sure the offense has proved a whole lot yet, not willing to make that courageous of a comment, however, I will say that Man has benefited from the discovery of the wheel.

Smazza, why do you think Rod leaving was best for USF?

The offense isn't clicking yet, when it does watch out.  Guarantee it will start clicking on all cylinders within the next 2-3 games.

Look at how many different receivers have caught passes. Look at the number of running backs getting carries and being effective. Matt is running more than I'd like to see but there is definitely an air of confidence on third and long.

Rod Smith did nothing as a QB coach, got promoted, and did virtually nothing as OC.  He hasn't exactly blown WVU's passing game up either.  He had too high of a position for his qualifications at the time...it was good we got rid of him.  Best move ever?  I don't know about that.  I'd say hiring Leavitt...who's shown good loyalty and solid coaching to the Bulls from the start...was probably our best football move.  His continuity is a big part of our success.

It's a wonder that the Krispy Kremes in the great Tampa area are still open!

I just did some math last year the team avg was 22.9 points a game. After just 4 games this year two vs ranked teams we have a 28 point avg.

I think as the season continues the offense will start to really click.

Take a look at last year. Matt spread the ball around a lot then, too.

Also, I think our production out of the RB spot has more to do with the guys we have now than the OC.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
