I saw some guy walking in the Parking lot with a very large piece of the field.

A post-game celebration cannot even compare to damage done by the game itself

I would mostly agree (unless our fans wear cleats) and that is what I said when I was told this..however, when I think about the money-grab that has taken place at that stadium since its inception, it would not surprise me to see a demand for compensation roll down to USF.

USF should be demanding compensation from TSA.  We pay a lot of money for TSA to provide "security" for these events.  Clearly TSA did not provide enough security and well I am sure someone at USF can think of a reason this caused us financial harm.  Seriously, it isn't USF's job to control the crowd, we pay TSA to do it and they failed.

If all of this is true it's even more reason to push for an on-campus stadium in the near future. I'm tired and im sure USF is getting tired of the TSA and Bucs banking off of us and then they complain about some friggin sod.

And, while I hate to fan the flames of this possible rumor...if it is true, I hope the Glazers and the TSA are exposed for what they are...no better time than now while the Bulls are enjoying record community support.  It'd be nice to see the real home team - USF (we're not going to relocate) - get a little support from the community on this and maybe force some renegotiation and workable terms on future games at the community stadium.

 How is it USF's administration's faul that our fans rushed the field? Wasn't that TSA's and TPD's job to stop them? Was Judy supposed to tackle the students herself?

I kind of hope it's true because if it is, the TSA is going to be much more willing to arrest and prosecute people who do it in the future. That will help slow down the knuckleheads whose life ambition is to rush the field.

I'm against people whose first impulse after a home win is to run on the field. It's been done for much, much less important games than the WVU game.

Jamie... . this was the biggest win in our history... more fans were created at this game than at any game in our previous 11 years. Storming the field was appropriate...

It wouldn't be shocking, or a first for the group.  A typical shake-down because probably the costs to fix some spots on the field came in, and instead of recognizing the 'community' and 'Glazers' made probably close to a mill on our fee, concessions, and parking...they felt they should get more dollars.
