Help. I’m trying to get a hold of someone to file a grievance.

I have a Major gripe from the WVU game.  I just graduated in May.  I have season tickets located in the Student section.  My buddy went to the ticket office before the game and asked if I would have to go camp out for a wristband. The ticket office said, "No, the season ticket holders will not need to wait, and should have no problem getting to the lower bowl."  Well, Long story short, standing at guest services for 45 minutes before the game arguing this fact with the Raymond James Staff from 7:00 - 7:45. Then I had to give my buddy who was caught in the horrendous rush hour/ USF traffic in the middle of the first quarter.  So, upon coming back up the ramp the guys at the first level refused to let us in because we didn't have wristbands.  So, I asked to have him call a manager over, but instead he called a cop over to make me go to the upper deck or escort me out of the stadium.  I had to eventually call my father, who is also a season ticket holder to come out and bail me out of the situation, but at this point my friend, my father, and myself had all missed 10:00 of the first quarter and 5:00 of the second quarter on top of me having to stand at guest services for 45 minutes.  I'm trying to get a hold of someone from the ticket office, but the lines are jammed and it took days for them to call me back last week.

Any ideas or anyone I can speak with?

Why not contact Eric Soncrant?  He can probably resolve your issue or put you in contact with whoever handles these types of issues.

Thanks for the tip. I got in touch with Christie Wilson, Asst to ticket opperations, who is getting her boss to call me back to help resolve this issue. If that doesn't work out, I'll Call Eric.

Me and someone else on the board here had this discussion BEFORE the game (we are both Student section season ticket holders.) basically back and forth that we didn't trust the Raymond James crew there to know what was going on.  My friend with me on my other ticket caught a little flak about it but I straitened the security guy out.  (well me and a little liquid courage). 

Sorry you had trouble with this.  I agree the ticket office should mail out wristbands to us so we dont have to deal with this again.

Yeah, eebullman and I had this conversation before the game.  I didn't have any issues getting past the security at the entrance of the level or at the stairwell down to the student section.  I did leave my seat at half-time to go get a drink and when I came back the dumbass security guy at the stairwell didn't let me back in.  I insisted that I had a "student section season ticket" and he said "NO, I am only allowed to let people in with wristbands."  After arguing with him for a minute I said "well fine, if you're not going to let me in then I'll go right over there (pointing to the guy at the next stairs) and get it."  So I walked over there and got right in.  Athletics does need to get a handle of this before the next game though!!  I don't want to be wasting my time convincing a rent-a-cop that I am allowed to go sit in my seat that I paid for!

Guys, this situation sucks, but please keep one thing in mind:

The actual "wristband checkers" at the stairs aren't to blame, in all liklihood. They were doing their job like they were supposed to, only letting in people with wristbands.

Now, I agree that someone is to blame, and this situation really sucks for you.  Either it's ticketing for not making things clear to RJS, or it's RJS for not  communicating things to their employees
