March Victorious

Forgive me if this is painfully obvious, but I haven't shared a stadium with HOT since the bowl game in Charlotte...

Are there any situations in particular (besides pregame, of course) where we play March Victorious? Offense, defense, big gains, etc? Just curious.

Sometimes as filler when big plays happen... but "The Bull" has taken that place.  I remember us playing it, and I think they still do, when we get a field goal.  Kinda a second fight song.

After asking the question, I heard it on TV (I'm watching the recording of the WVU game) after the extra point that was kicked after a review of the touchdown (i.e. after the fight song had ended). I was wondering because I think it'd definitely be well suited to serve as a second fight song, not unlike the Maryland Fight Song/Victory Song dichotomy at UMCP.

I actually like "The March Victorious" better than our fight song.

Wish the HOT would alternate between the two when playing the fight song is called for.

A lot more peppy & spirited.

We usually play it after the game is over. And we play it for field goals and of, course, during pre-game.  I wish w played it more too.

Why not tell Schnetty & Dr. Robinson you have fans clamoring for more "March Victorious"?

Just two or three more times a game would be great!

Sorry, I have to disagree. I love the HOT, but the March Victorious sounds way too much like I've been Workin on the Railroad

Did they ever release a CD of the Herd of Thunder???  C'mon Peoples....  I was at the bookstore a few weeks ago, and I asked for this and they looked at me like I had 3 heads.........The fans need the music.  Especially the ones not in the IPod Generation!!!

No.  I don't know the details behind not doing it now... but the school songs are available for download per the band site (http://band.arts.usf.edu/media.htm).  You could always burn it! 

The CD would be a great fundraiser, so I hope they can do it soon.
