I don't like the comparisons to "Rutgers last year"

I believe our defense this year is better than theirs was last year. And if our offense can get their act together, this team as a whole can be loads better than last year's Rutgers team IMO

Rutgers, WVU, and Louisville have a few big name players, but USF is good as a TEAM.  Those people who actually follow the Bulls know this and this is a HUGE distinction

I agree last year they were 4-0 before they beat us and I think they were #22 and had a soft schedule

We were a team that had lost to kansas

This yrs BULLS team is 4-0 has beaten #17 aub on the road and just beat the #5 team at home and deserves to be a top 10 team

I hate the "they're the Boise State of 2007" thing.

First, we're in a BCS conference.  Second, we actually play good teams.  And third, we're the **** Bulls, compare us to no one else!

I think Rutgers will always have an unfair advantage in the "perception" department just because of their location. They have all that media there waiting for someone to have success, so any little success will be increased exponentially due to the New York media. It's not like they can get too excited about Temple or Army. Now they have UConn so maybe they can steal some of the hype but there's still a big difference between Conn. and NY/NJ.

If we can't do it this year, it will have to wait until 2009 and a lot of other things happening.
