I mod the sports board on another forum i post at and i figured id throw up the outside opinions/posts about our game the other night for S's & G's

might be the ugliest half of football I've ever seen, from both teams. South Florida's defense is amazing. Our offense is playing scared, their defense is playing angry. Not a good combo. Me predicting a blowout was me being a biased fan, and I thought it would be close at the half, but I don't know if anyone would've predicted 8 turnovers in the first half.

Wow, congrats to USF. That's what I get for the one time I try and talk trash. Slim chance at a national championship = gone. Heisman hopefuls = eliminated from the discussion. I can't say enough about how amazing USF's defense is. And not to take away from their defense at all, but we had so many plays where the execution was about as terrible as it could be. Bad snaps, bobbled snaps, bad handoffs, broken plays...absolutely everything that could go wrong did. WVU's and USF's rankings should be switched. Actually, WVU shouldn't even be ranked anymore. Probably the most disheartening loss I've ever experienced as a WVU fan.

Condolences. I love WVU's talent on offense - Slaton, White, Devine. Would they have had a chance if White was okay? I only started watching in the 3rd quarter.

P.S. Those hot USF chicks they kept showing...I wanna party with them tonight

based on the first half, HELL NO

it seemed like whenever White & Slaton were on the sidelines, the defense kind of didn't know who to focus on, so we were able to move the ball a little bit. And I stress that, a little bit, but at least more than in the first half. The most disappointing thing is that our defense actually played pretty well too, but our offense was the absolute worst that I've ever seen it.

Jesus Christ that was the most stressful **** ive been at in a while. Im ******* wiped out and ill give my thoughts tomorrow when i wake up. Andvil thanks (what you said in the PM) and i hope you guys win out so we can get more BE talk on the national scene. Great game great experience now hopefully we dont have a let down game next week.

happened last year too agaisnt Louisville, oh snap had to get that in there

great win for USF, i noticed they got their end zones painted correctly instead of going over top of the bucs lettering

i think only a few teasm could have went into Tampa last night and left with a W (LSU, USC, Louisville  )

Well now that im not exhausted mentally and physically like i was last night ill talk about the game. The defense played just like i thought they would, fast, physical, tackled well, and just out right made plays. The offense really kinda disappointed me as Grothe underthrew 2 open WRs on the deep balls that were picked (safety was beat and if it was thrown to where the WR had to run to get it both would have been TD's). We did everything in our power on offense to keep/give WVU in the game in the first 1/2 but our defense stepped up and carried the team last night. I will admit after that last WVU touchdown my heart sank a little and i started to get VERY nervous as i didnt know how much our D had left in the gas tank. After that last incomplete pass (i dont know why you would throw at Mike Jenkins in that situation dudes a lock down corner and could be the first corner taken this year) it felt like a someone lifter vanderslice (a big fat dude on the board) off my shoulders. Im VERY happy we got to rush the field as the last time we had a big win at home (UL in 05) the cops were tackling, night sticking, and tasering people. Thats the reason why the fans didnt just jump the wall with reckless abandon like most schools do when they rush the field. I think we now have shown the nation the blueprint to beat WVU be fast but play your assignment, punch them in the mouth, and tackle well. If you do these things you will limit big plays and keep you in the game with them. Now for some pics from last night (Score board pics by me from field level).
