USF will move to 14-12.  THey'll be in the top ten after (hopefully) beating FAU.

The best possible scenario would be for Auburn to pull it off and we are #9 with the Gators #10.

At this point in the rankings the only way we move up is if someone above us loses.  We may move up 3-4 spots at the most.  So 14-16 is my prediction.

With OU losing, Maryland and Michigan St going hard at Rutgers and Wisconsin and Kansas St putting the pressure on Texas, Top 10 isnt out of reach...and thats without mentioning Cal-Oregon. My guess is 9.

Talk about optimistic...  I'm not sure USF is the 6th best team in the country right now.  Sure, we've won two BIG games this weekend and I would put our defense up against anyone... but our offense is not clicking on half of its cylinders yet.

Besides, there are quite a few more teams ahead of us that pollsters would have to slide behind us this week... that is a lot to ask.

Let's be realistic... there are a lot of good teams ahead of us.  BullDozier1 lists the possible upsets... but review the rest Top 17... (besides WVU)...

#1 USC at Washington.  8:00pm

#2 LSU at Tulane.  Started slow but then ratcheted it up. LSU 34-9

#3 Oklahoma at Colorado COLORADO 27-24

Auburn at #4 Florida.  8:00pm

#6 Cal at #11 Oregon.  Tied 10 at late 3rd... could go either way, but USF will be ahead of the loser.

Kansas State at #7 Texas.  K-State up 10, middle of the 3rd... Texas is looking weak, USF could possible slip ahead of them even with a win.

#8 Ohio State at Minnesota.  8:00pm

Michigan State at #9 Wisconsin.  UW 27-21 middle of the 3rd

Maryland at #10 Rutgers.  It is better for USF and the Big East for Rutgers to win this game.  We want both teams undefeated when we play on the 18th.  RU 17-14 early in the 3rd.

Massachusetts at #12 Boston College.  BC 24-14

#13 Clemson at Georgia Tech.  GT is up 7-3 early in the 3rd

Florida Atlantic at #14 Kentucky.  KY 45-17

Ole Miss at #15 Georgia.  UGA 45-17

Mississippi State at #16 South Carolina.  USF 38-21

North Carolina at #17 Virginia Tech.  VT 17-10  USF will jump VT for sure.

NEXT WEEK... LSU-Florida, Oklahoma-Texas, Kentucky-South Carolina, Ohio State-Purdue, Rutgers-Cincinnati, Clemson-Virginia Tech... lots of losers for USF to jump over.  After a win over FAU, the Bulls will be at least #10 if not #8 in the country.

I can't see us any higher than, say 10-11.
