Well, hell, USF beat us again.  No excuses coming from me, but then again I am 54 years old and have witnessed many losses.  Enjoy the victory and good luck on the rest of the season.  If someone in the Big East can go undefeated and play in the BCS championship game it might as well be the Bulls.  The conference seems to be competitive so there is still a chance that the Mountaineers can go 11-1 and make it to a BCS bowl.  Maybe we'll both get there since Notre Dame and the mid-majors don't seem to have a shot.  To be honest I was very impressed by both defenses which in our case gives us a realistic chance at winning the rest of our games.  College football = the best in reality TV.

Same here from a CANE/CARD fan.  Rutgers looks like the only team with a chance to beat you in the

B.E., although Cinci. may surprise you if you take them lightly.  Sorry to say the CARDS defense will prevent them from winning many games this year.  The CANE/Bulls games will be something I will be looking forward to.

I agree that WVU's defense played well against the pass. Those INTs by WVU against Grothe were pretty good defensive plays. Grothe tried to make a play into double coverage, but WVU made him pay. I hope Pat White recovers well, so that he can go out there and lead the Moutaineers to victory the rest of the way. Good luck WVU!!! It would be great to see two BIG EAST teams in BCS games this season. If both USF and WVU win out then there is a great chance of that happening since there is plenty of season left.

While leaving the game I saw a few WVU fans and I tried to be friendly to them.  One fan in particular realy impressed me.  I said "Good game" to him and he responded with a firm hand shake and a smile.  He said "I've been watching college football for 30 years and that was one of the best defenses I've seen"  I thanked him and wished him a safe trip home.  Very classy fan.  Other WVU fans were pretty quiet leaving but overall I was very happy.
