I think I understand what you are saying, but......

H.O.T. played their faces off for the crowd, and this thread was directed at giving them props.  We all know there are areas of the staduim that hear the band better than others.  We also all know the logistic nightmare of mic'ing the band (delay, feedback, etc.).  The band is a great part of the game experience, and I am sorry you didn't hear them.  Did you hear them at halftime, or were you out in the concourse?

It's going to be a problem for 1/2 of the stadium as long as they are stuck in a corner.  I sit on the 40 yard line away from the Band and  can barely hear them....and I know they put out some sound and I'm not hard of hearing.  Put 'em in the center of the end zone!

The HOT used to be in the endzone, right behind the uprights, but someone, *cough*Athletics*cough*, moved us into the corner wedge

I need to write up a good post and save it somewhere where I can just pull it out whenever.  The band was moved at the BANDS request, due to a logistics nightmare getting out of the endzone to the field.  The corners are the only places that have stairs to the field.  They also needed a larger section, which that section is now larger. 

They can not mic the band due to delay from the speakers... trust me... listen to UMs band and let me know what you think about feedack.

BY THE WAY... THE BAND SOUNDED GREAT!  I walked around and heard them mostly everywhere.  Obviously the one south east section isnt great, but I could still hear them.  AMAZING!  GREAT JOB!

Heard them perfectly...then again I was 7 seats away....If you want to hear the band in Ray Jay until we get our OCS....Then move closer!!!!!!  Like I will be doing for the UCF game, just 2 seats away in same section (139)

Asking the band to be mic'd for the stadium and not TV purposes is insulting to the band.
