Now we have Rutgers as the new favorites to win the BE championship. That's what our offense has put this team. We have a top 10 defense, but our offense is not in the top 30 or 40. Hey Greg, how about a roll out every once in a while.

SO, us having a really convincing offense will help us win the Big East easier than just going to Rutgers and beating them? Why don't we just do that, then maybe they will say UL is the team to beat again, or Cinci. Doesn't matter to me, as long as we beat them all, it doesn't matter who they think is more impressive.

It should be a matchup of two top 10 teams when we go to Rutgers. I think when we win that one, it will be pretty obvious who has the inside track to win the big east. At this point, who cares what they are saying on Gameday?

By the way, half time show of LSU game talking about "play of the year" on Grothe's TD pass. And "it's not what went wrong for WVU, it's what USF did right". We're getting plenty of respect.

Coach Leavitt said that after we scored 21 points we got conservative. Wake up Greg! This is the year to do serious damage this year.

i agree with this.  we were up 21-6 and a big proponent of putting the nail in the coffin.  we got too conservative and it got a little scary at the end (21-13).  granted, i'd rather put it on our defense's hands to close the game vs. having to score last minute, but still...

I think his playcalling is much improved over last year.  I think our major obstacle has been Grothe's throwing.  He makes one circus act phenom play one minute, then he's forcing the int the next. 

He has been throwing a lot of poor passes... most of our drops this season have been thrown behind the recievers.

Listen to College Game Day, first it was Louisville will win the BE. They show that they don't have a defense. They get dropped. Next WVU is the team to win the BE. No one can stop Slaton, Devine, and White. They're gone from the top 10. Now we have Rutgers as the new favorites to win the BE championship. That's what our offense has put this team.

Do you see a pattern here?!?  These explosive offenses don't win tough football games.  Would you rather be favored or actually WIN?

If your offense is vanilla and you beat the number 5 team in the country by 8, there is nothing wrong with the O.

I'm looking for consistency on offense, not great explosion. The little mistakes that hurts this offense. Look I'm also a Bucs fan, and I seen this movie before.

Some of you need to grow up.

Being content will get you beat. Love my Bulls, But also not blind. And I know when Jim and Co. do they're press conference. They will talk about the same thing we're discussing. To me, we are a top 5 team in the country. But the offense will have to raise it's level of play. So don't get it twisted. We are happy with the win. But I know majority of the Bulls and the fans know that this should have been a blow out.

I love it, classic post. 

Its tough to open thngs up when your highest recruit ever keeps putting it on the grass and your BE Rookie of the Year throws anything over 15 yards up for grabs. I have always hated this offense but its what we've got and its WINNING games for us.
