USF, take my advice... remember your role, do not let this loss crush your season because you were not that good to start with.

Hey I gleamed this comment from one of many Mr. WVstatechamp1990's  retorts on OUR board asking us if our season will be crushed if we lose.

I say HELL NO!!

It is only one game and our first BIG EAST match.  I do not think we are trying to become National Champs.

But I am sure that WVU's  National Title hopes will be in shambles if they lose. 

WVU fans even pitch a fit if they drop a spot in the rankings!!!

One thing that I am sure of, I will be thankful come Sunday, when MrWVstatechamps1990 moves on to the Syracuse board!!!

Next week we'll be in Ft. Lauderdale drinking RumRunners and watching another football game.

What do you think? Pretty much everyone guessed 1 - 2 losses. I just hope we don't lose to the

State Champion of College Football in West Virginia. The competition between all those schools is fierce!

I say if we lose a close game some of the bandwagoners will stay...if we lose by a decent amt they will not come back for a while....thats Tampa sports fans for you....

And why not?  I sure hope that CJL isn't thinking like you.  I think we can match up and play anybody to a good game, and so far we are undefeated.

If we should lose the game, as long as it isn't a blow out, I don't believe that our ranking will move down all that much.  We are the underdog in this game, so a loss by less than 7 shouldn't have a big impact IMO.

It is still early in the season, and that is very good for us.  Insofar as bandwagon fans are concerned, if they like what they see from the team, many of them will buy in to what is being offered--good play and no give up.

I do believe we will win the game.  I don't however, think we are going to blow them away.  They are an excellent team, and they match up very well with us.  Tomorrow night can't come too soon.
