15k-17k WVU fans @ the game??

4000 was the official visitor section as I understood it. They then asked for 250 more tix and returned 150 of those to us on Monday.

So, I would say that if there are going to be 15k there, they will be depleated a little because they likely bought their tix through ticketmaster and won't be in the "official" WVU section.

Yeah.....that's what got me scratching my head about what this guy said.

A little over 4,000 sold through WVU.

That's quite a ways from 15,000.

I know they will be sprinkled throughout Daddy Malcolm Glazer's house, but that's an awful lot of sprinkling to get to 15k!  I think that fugure is wishful thinking on nthat guy's part.

I spoke with an WVU Alum and he as been right on in the past he said WVU got 8000 tickets from USF (I sure they are wishing they didnt now we sold out) and he said around 9-10K

I hink there will be over 10k. Remember they had about that any coming in 2005. There is no doubt they were a big part in selling out so fast. we should still have about 50000 on our side. If this was last week then I'd worry.

Yeah, but if you listen to the Kool-Aid chuggers to the East, they're gonna bring at least 45,000 people to the game. There was another post a few days ago where one of them actually tried to say they outnumbered us 2 years ago.

just made a trip down to naples and there are WVu Alumni talking **** about us.... I asked them what happened last year and the room was silent.

They only got a little over 4,000 "official" tickets for the game.

From what I am hearing, there will be a LOT of WVU people in the South Endzone.  They probably got their tickets from Ticketmaster or something.

10K?  Maybe.  15k?  I doubt it, but possible.

Where do you people hear 10,000 or even 15,000 from? Show me SOMETHING that says that and not some guy on the radio!
