I'd say pretty accurate, maybe a bit high.  I don't recall the exact number in the official visiting section, but they asked for more and got it, so my guess is somewhere between 10,000 and 12,000 is the better range, but who knows.

This guy on Ron & Ian says AT LEAST 15k-17k at the game tomorrow night.

How accurate do you think this is?

I don't know but there were a lot of WVU fans at the last WVU game here.  Now WVU is even more popular so I would think there could possibly be more than last time.  Of course if we have 50K of USF fans it isn't going to matter.

Big deal, FTU/OU will bring 30,000 to our house in two weeks

Yeah, I know.

But 15k in a 65k seat stadium is a really BIG chunk.

Just means you 50k lucky ducks in attendance need to be even louder.

Hey! No problem!  We are going to make them feel like those Louisville fans a couple years ago.

From what I read (and was posted previously), WVU "officially" sold 4000 tickets. Must also remember though that there was some company in that region advertising this as their "BE Road Trip" for the season (also posted on here previously), they travel extremely well to begin with and there's a good number of fans already in the area, I wouldn't put 8000-10000 past them.

When I was at the Brad Paisley concert last Friday I saw at least 10 different people wearing WVU gear. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people made this a full-on vacation, not just a weekend trip.

4000 was the official visitor section as I understood it. They then asked for 250 more tix and returned 150 of those to us on Monday.

So, I would say that if there are going to be 15k there, they will be depleated a little because they likely bought their tix through ticketmaster and won't be in the "official" WVU section.
