My brother graduated from ND, and I actually pull for them too.  I've been to South Bend about 8 times in my life.  Beautiful campus.  Most of what ND gets it deserves in my opinion.  Normally the people that hate, don't even understand what they are hating.  So it doesn't really bother me.

Just wait until a bowl takes them in front of your beloved Bulls one year and see how much you really start to hate Notre Dame.

in order for that to even be possible ND would first have to win 6 games which won't happen.  so that is a non-issue.

Maybe not this year, but trust me somewhere down the line they will screw you out of a good bowl and will be delegated to El Paso, Toronto, or Charlotte.

What do you think people hate?

I hate ND for one simple reason:

Sports talk is jam packed with ND update garbage that takes away from more deserving teams. I guess now that they're 0-4 they're newsworthy for sucking so much, but even when they were 0-2 you see nightly "Can ND turn it around?" segments.  ND is a mediocre Big 10 team, about on level with Indiana and Illinois. Yet for the amount of air time they get, you would think they were in the running for the national championship.

I guess its not really Notre Dame that I hate, but the press which won't get off of their ***s long enough to take a breather and talk about deserving teams. UCF is a better team than ND.

ESPN cannot do one SportsCenter without mentioning either ND, Yankees, Red Sox, or USC.  It's as simple as that.

I love the fact that ND sucks and won't make a bowl.  That frees the Big East to get the bowls we deserve, and not have them stolen from a ghey team that leaches onto a conference's ties but won't make the commitment.

It's sort of like having a strippper start to give you a lap dance, and then stop in the middle to go take a dump.
