lol.....something started the week before the Auburn game, a group in SBC decided we should have two mascots as well.

WAR FLAMINGO was decided on, a friend of mine actually brought an inflatable flamingo to the UNC game, wore it on his head. About 10-15 people chanting it.

I'm going back and forth between it being idiotic and brilliant.

Sounds like a cross between Auburn and ECU. I hate to discredit Auburn by using them in the same sentence as ECU... But then we did put the beatdown on both of them - BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEY.

I wouldn't mind "War Pirates" if the pirate ship would fly around the stadium and then land on the big white flag in the middle and shoot it's cannons.  Every game an ECU Fabulously-Purple Pirate will be forced to walk the plank in front of thousands.
