The real question is, Does it really matter what he says in the first place?  NOT!!

Until USF beats UF, UM and FSU he won't give the school any props.  For a Tampa Bay radio "personality" (and I use that word very loosely) he is an embarrassment in not supporting the local team.

Duemig has spent the better part of the last three years chasing off USF fans who tried to call him and argue that USF was "big time".  He's discredited our team and insulted our fan base.  Every time we've been in a big game... Louisville 05, UCF 05 and 06, WVU 06, Auburn 07... he's picked us to lose.  Every time, we prove him wrong.  USF has made him look more foolish than any other college team, and it infuriates him.

Now we're ranked 18 and he wants us to call in?  Screw you, Big Douche, you should have been listening back in 05 when the avalanche was starting after we beat Louisville.

USF and its fans have nothing... and I mean NOTHING... to prove to Duemig.

Yeah, I do not know what he does now but I remember 6 or 7 years ago having what amounted to a Buc pep rally on the radio calling out local fans of other teams saying that you should support the home team.  I would argue that for those who did not attend another university with a football team, USF should be the home team for Tampa Bay since USF would not threaten to move the franchise.   I also know that USF had been ignored back then on the radio with the exception of Chris Thomas who always had positive things to say about USF. By the way, Thomas went to the University of South Carolina not Buckhorn U.

I can only guess that either Coach Leavitt or someone affiliated with USF has pissed him off or USF's quicker than expected rise had hit him upside the head like a 2x4 and he regrets not touting the possibilities of the program like Thomas did back in the 90's.  Thomas >>>>>>>>>>> Douchebag.
