Am I wrong?

There are tons of tickets being sold on Craigslist by USF students. I know that with my wristband I was required to show my student ID at the gate for the UNC game. I thought I read somewhere that each companion needed to be accompanied by a student when attending this Friday's game. For that reason I just bought tickets instead of waiting for the student frenzy because I needed to take more than one person?

Are all thos people going to be screwed? I'm kind of hoping so. I want our student section to be mostly students like it was against UNC, not a bunch of bandwagoners that aren't going to scream at the top of their lungs for four hours...

No, you don't need a student ID or to even accompany a student through the gates with a companion ticket... basically, it's a general admission ticket to the student section.  Anyone can use it at any time.

The wristband just ensures that only 8,000 people will be sitting in the lower level sections.

Although I am willing to bet big money that a few students will use the "slip it off" or "cut and tape" methods will bring extra people into the lower level... (three go down with wristbands, one comes up gets two more friends, three go down, one comes up gets two more friends, etc)...

Hmm. I guess they just checked me and my wife for our student ID's. I remember because I had a few and kept showing my drivers liscense on accident  =/
