Student Tickets for Sale on Ebay

Market for WVU vs USF tickets is already "correcting" if not crashing. I will pick up 2 in front of the stadium tomorrow and I hope the gougers lose thousands!

The point is the tickets people are scalping (student and companion tickets) are subsidized so students and their friends can get affordable seats to the game, not for other students to steal the tickets out from under them and sell them for profit.

Im a USF student and I dont see anything wrong with students selling tickets, in fact I sold 2 of my companion tickets and made a little money off it, go look at ebay or stubhub and look at other major college football programs the same thing is going on. If a student really wanted a ticket they should have been in line at 6am  to get them. I think it's awesome that we are selling out this game and that we are even having this problem, and I'll be in line at 6am every week for my tickets.

Those other programs that you speak of also SELL their students tickets in the first place.  If you are fine with it, then none of us can tell you what to do.  It's just that your desperation to make some profit took the tickets out of the hands of other students who wanted to go to the game.  The tickets we get are subsidized with fees and such rather than athletics making a profit.

It will all be a moot point eventually as these abuses will force ath. dept.'s hand in charging all for tickets before long.

Why you guys are selling your tickets, I gave away three of them... and they are good seats five rows up in the endzone... This game is not about profit... it's about creating culture at our school. Culture sells itself...
