BUT it will distract other students from getting in line to get in the stadium so I have a better shot of front row in the end zone so all is well.

As an old man and parent of two, I can assure you that we'll be staying outside to watch the HOT and not participating in the concert.

Not ridiculing it at all... but it's just not my cup of tea.  I'm sure plenty will be in the street to watch HOT.

Mostly alumni and families that watch the HOT roadside show anyways....Students will all be at the other concert....However, for once I would love to see the stadium mostly to completely full for the pregame show.

I don't like this for another reason.  I read somewhere that it will run until 7:15PM.  This overlaps the time that H.O.T. normally does their road show. 

Maybe most on here don't care, but those kids work **** hard for us fans, and they are there EVERY week.  I think they should be given some kind of consideration over ANY outside act  Just my 0.02

Right on, Dad!  That was my original point.  There are enough things going on outside the stadium that this is going to take away from any tradition we have built (HOT street show in this case).  Also, this will cause a lot of people to get into the stadium even later than they normally do which means HOT and the National Anthem will be played to the usual 75% empty seats.

Thanks 79!  I am not going to rag on those that don't want to come to the raod show, but wouldn't it be great to see more and more fans attending it?  H.O.T. usually goes through the some of the music they paly in the stands and I think it is the perfect opportunity to get more fans "in the know" about what to do when as far as cheers and the  :gobulls sign with #8, etc.

As we mature, and more and more fans get on board, the traditions we start now will take hold making RJS (or an OCS eventually) a great atmosphere.

IIRC, the HOT pregame show doesn't even begin until 30 minutes prior to kickoff. Isn't kickoff slated for around 8:10  or so? If that is the case, HOT probably won't be on the field performing until 7:30 or 7:40 pm. If people high tail it into the stadium after the concert, there should be no problem catching both.
