Someone mentioned this last week and I noticed it a couple of times at the Bucs game yesterday.

We need this for the WVU game.

How hard can it be???

Heck, I'm surprised the visiting fans haven't seen how stupid we are when it comes to the wave. If I was them, I would be trying to start it each time the Bulls' offense was on. The stadium would probably follow along.

Stop the wave, if not, stop it during offense.l

QBan, as far as I could tell from my seats in section 136 there's some yahoo with a #13 (?) jersey on inciting this nonsense.  If I could throw something that far I would.  Idiot. 

I am generally impressed with the student turnout and support, but they need to remember this is an event to watch their fellow students perform not draw attention to themselves individually.

Yeah, the wave in the first quarter of the UNC game was really lame.  I normally do it, but definitely NOT at that time.

HAHA, for those of you who HATE the wave... I'm sure you're going to have a heart attack come Friday. I put the over/under on the number of times it goes around the stadium at 15 (consecutive).

That being said, I think that having "quiet" on the jumbotron is a good idea... even better "MAKE SOME NOISE" on every 2nd and 3rd downs. At the very least they could have that sponsered by McDonald's and make some money off of it

Cashcow, your idea sounds good on the surface...just like we have the tron say "LET'S GET LOUD", maybe saying something like "Quiet Zone  :shhh " sounds good on the surface...

but I'm a firm believer in double edged swords...would we also look lame on t.v. and to the visiting fans???

Wouldn't want myself nor my school to come across as looking like a  :loser ...know what I mean?

When we looked across the field and saw this starting in the 1st qtr, there was a big collective "NOOOOOOO" from our group. If you want to do the wave, wait and do it during a TV timeout to keep things going. DO NOT do the wave while we are on offense, defense or special teams!!!!  >
