I root for the Bulls and attend their games.  I will be rooting for my Mounties for this game only and will be there among the thousands of Mountie fans. In any event, WVU is not taking USF lightly nor should they. I have seen every game by both teams and there will be speed to burn on the field. USF will find success throwing in the middle of the field on WVU and Grothe should have time to pass. It is a little harder to run on the Mounties with Dingle, DYkes and Scooter Berry up front who play the run well. THe LB's are active but have trouble covering the underneath stuff. Our corners can definitley be had but are improved since last year as we have more depth. On the offensive side your D line will give us problems. WVU better not run the continuous bubble screens they run agaisnt everyone else as with USF speed it will be tough to execute those.  I would blast Owen Schmitt and Slaton up the gut(Limited sweeps) and then go play action. WVU also has put Devine and Slaton on the field together recently.

This should be a very fun game to watch and I would not be surprised if USF or WVU wins as it should be that close.

The Mountaineers have a nice kick and punt return game as well. Rivers is sure handed and makes people miss on punt returns though not a blazer.  Devine has been returning some kickoffs as well.

Both teams are very well coached so I see no edge there.

p.s. you know I am loyal as my pro allegiance is with the Vikes and they ususally stink.

Jeff - I am sort of the opposite , I graduated from USF and my son is in his first year at WVU .  Enjoy the game , GO BULLS .

Jeff did you attend WVU? If not, I say it's time to switch over to the university your son is attending. If you did attend WVU then that's cool and you and your son will have fun with the rivalry over the coming years.

Have fun on fri but not too much fun.
