Not only will we have the largest student section, but this weeks games will also be the largest home crowd for any Big  East game this year, or any year hereafter unless someone expands their stadium.  WVU has the next biggest stadium with 60,000.  I am thinking we would set the Big East attendance record if V-Tech, BC and UM's records are pulled from the record book since they are no longer members. 

interesting-- I would have thought Pitt might have a similar if not larger number (they have one endzone closed off/no jumbotron)

I think I read somewhere earlier that Heinz Field has a capacity of just over 64,000

  WVU had around 70k for Miami in '93 I believe. Our stadium used to be slightly larger and we had 6k more fans there than our stadium held. The fire marshall put a end to those days though
