At least we had a First Down chant back then, I haven't heard a 1st down chant this year. I'm sure the students are doing one, but we need the whole stadium to pick up on it. I think if enough students show up tonight for the camping they should organize a little rally so everyone can be on the same page as to what to chant during kick offs and 1st downs.

The announcer kinda delays when he says "First down.........Bulls"

It's kind of obvious the crowd should yell BULLS! before he does

The way the first down is called by the announcer sounds different from last year, and it doesn't easily lead the crowd on to say "Bulls".

What they should do is before the game, make an announcement over the PA kinda to the effect of

"Hey listen up Bulls fans, after a first down I'll say 'First down...' and you guys complete it by saying BULLS! Lets get some tradition started here. Go Bulls!"

Hated the McDonalds crap with a passion.  The jingle was the worst thing ever of all time but I don't mind a big inflatable thing on the field when no one is playing.

Oh and on the first down thing.  Isn't the band playing the first down "GO Bulls" thing on every first down?  What do you mean by there is no first down chant?  The crowd was participating with that pretty well (not just the students).

I wonder if the fireworks will be attempted Friday night when the team runs on the filed.  They may have bagged that for the season after the Elon "accident".  Anybody know how that guy is doing?

While I am very happy that the arch is gone but I think the national attention we are new receiving and the "buzzz" around Tampa Bay will lead to a huge increase in marketing partnerships for the school and program.

Not to mention I am looking forward to the increase in Bull related "gear" and paraphernalia formerly reserved for the other 3 of the BIG 4!!

I have a friend who is desperate for a USF gnome (whatever) that comes in crocodile and Native American versions but not BULLS versions.

I didn't know Miami was still up there.

I liked the McDonalds Jingle, I especially like that after hearing it enough it gets associated with USF and people will think about Bulls football every time they hear it on TV.

last week they turned it around and he would say "it's enough for a Bulls <delay> FIRST DOWN"

I tried to go along with it but it's a bit more awkward.
