while those guys definitely impressed, i don't see how anyone other than Selvie could get the game ball. nothing but pressure the entire game.

Delbert did a great job today, I hope his confidence is high for the WVU game. I don't think there is a problem with Delbert's kicking, there is a problem when he's kicking in the clutch and on the road...he gets rattled.

However I can't fault the man today he did everything great. He boomed the punts today

I was pretty much sold on Delbert after he made that long FG against Syracuse last season as a Freshmen. Delbert took a lot of heat from that Auburn game, but the thing that really impressed me was that he went in there and made that FG when the game was on the line. Most young FG kickers would have shanked it.

He goes 0-4 @ Auburn ... then makes 2 to get us to OT ... seemed he made some in the clutch and didn't get rattled.  ;D

Also, he had a low snap when he was in the End Zone @ Auburn and belted it out of there.

I would say that a lot of kickers would have been rattled in that game against Auburn. What impressed me the most was that he was strong even after he missed all those kicks. He still wanted to go in the game and help us win. He is a competitor that USF is lucky to have. Both Teachey and Delbert are football players in my opinion. The tacked that Teachey had on that kickoff against UNC was pretty impressive for a kicker.

Did anyone outside the student section hear us chanting "AL-VA-RA-DO" after every FG he made? I hope he did because I'm sure he would like to know we're all behind him. He definitely gets comeback player of the week.
