I do not care how the crowd looked on TV this is what I saw at the game:

USF up 30-3 to start 4th quarter and light rain falling

UNC is trying to punch it in for a score on the student end zone

Students go nuts; stadium goes nuts UNC can not hear offsides drive stalled.

The 12th man did their job students were great all game long- but please stop with the wave.

Yeah, that was awesome. Section 237 suddenly came alive and I've never heard it so deafening in RJS (at least from where I was sitting).

I dont mind the wave, EXCEPT WHEN WE'RE ON OFFENSE.  There was that one drive where Grothe was signaling to quiet down and the student section kept trying to start the wave.

Oh dont even get me started on the wave, worst thing in sports I hate it so much. At the Elon game the Bulls were in the midst of trying to convert a crucial third down and fans kept doing the wave, Bulls punted they kept doing the wave. Whats the point of it? It happens at Devil Rays game too..pisses me off.

It wasn't only the student section all of the sections were raising pure Hell and it worked.

YES, YES, YES please students NO WAVE when we have the ball.

Students, Please learn something about Football!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  But you guys are GREAT otherwise!!!!!

I had a first timer at a Home BULLS game(his first was last year's UCF game) and a student(Lakeland campus) with us ... my buddy was shocked by the noise of only 37K and is excited about Friday night!

The student was pumped and obviously had a new found pride in his school.

Really think this gaem won over more fans and will again after WVU !

I saw who starts the wave...it's these 2 guys wearing sombreros.

They're in section 147.  Just saying in case anyone wants to help me knock some sense into them.

You've got to credit the student section with the UNC goal to go that blew up at the start of quarter 4. 

Not bad for a commuter, directional school.

As for the wave, the guy who girst came up with the wave is the lowest form of life on the planet!  Even below child molesters, TV preachers and politicans!  I REFUSE to participate.  The wave will cause the fall of the republic!

we sat in sec 139 right next to the band and near the student section. I was VERY impressed by the turnout and loudness of the stadium all game. it was great to see that turnout. On the postgame show Woolard said possibly upping the amout of student tix from 12,000. Not sure how many...but they were great and the band was too

No kidding...I was very impressed with the student sections...looking forward to a student attendance record Friday, let them fill the place up.  USF has to find a way to let in any and all students until the place is stacked then sell SRO in the end zones if possible.
