Just got in.. well played game.. AWFUL attendance...   I was really hoping for a nice showing today, and it looked like any other game.. great game though bulls!  Can't wait till Friday.

I wouldn't say awful.  Not great, but not awful either.

The fans that were there were extremely loud.

If you went to the game, you were heard on the tube.

Every game this year left on the schedule should top 37K, the remainder of the year, starting with a sellout on Friday.

yeah, exactly. i'm not sure how anyone can complain about the attendance today, it was fine, considering our history. and, more importantly, considering the history of any sports team in the Tampa Bay area (and Florida in general). lots of new folks to the area, and to the team, apparently.

what's the point of criticizing the fans anyway? fans criticizing other fans? that's awful. i've never understood that. wait till friday night, when the game is soldout and the stadium is packed, there's going to be someone complaining that the stadium wasn't loud enough at a certain point and that it's "embarrassing" for the school, etc. jeez louise!

This is 7,000 more than we averaged last year; would not call that awful.

I just thought the lower bowl looked pretty sparse.. coming off that win and the first ranking I just hoped for more... the weather didn't help, but hell I'd take that every weekend as opposed to a scorcher...

Great time all around, the people who showed up brought it.. guess I just hoped for more.. great stuff though.

UNC crowd was much smaller than I expected-- I've seen 1-AA teams with more fans at the game. I'm kind of surprised by this since there are so many UNC fans in the area

Just got back.

Great game

Attendance was about 3K-5K less than I expected, but the rain had a lot to do with that.

This is such a wimpy town when it comes to having excuse for not going to games.

That will change with more and more wins.

The crowds for the rest of the year should be at least as big as this one:

West Virginia (duh)

UCF (lots of knuckleheads coming over from Orlando)

Cincinnati (homecoming)

Louisville (potentially huge game)

Maybe they were actually hiding behind Bulls gear.  There were two cute little girls with their mom in the row ahead of us.  At the beginning of the game, all three were decked out in NC gear.  By the end of the 1st half, one was wearing a green "USF Girls Rock" shirt and the other a green Bulls shirt.  They had the right idea...
