It looked like a small crowd on TV... the student section looked solid, though, and really looked good on TV, especially when they got loud when UNC got the ball inside the 5 yard line and then failed to score.

I'd say for the way the weather was today, that 37,000 was a great total.  I'm sure the rain scared off some, but a decent crowd showed up.

Just got back, great game. Student section packed, everything else was scattered. The rain hurt allot. I know my section cleared out after halftime when it was a steady drizzle.

Dont forget today is Yom Kippur (holyest day for jews) so I doubt any tribe members were in attendance

37,000 is still a lot more than there would have been before this year. In the past, that crowd struggles to hit 30K.

great total? We are a TOP 25 TEAM on freaking ESPN drawing 37k. The rain 'scared off some'? Who the hell drives up to RJS, sees rain, and turns around.

unacceptable. this is a football hotbed. we have the largest enrollment in the big east and a student section rivaling many teams around the country.

not that rich in tradition, yes, but come on.. you need to draw at least 40k.

thank god Friday makes up for it.

So you're railing against the "poor" attendance, but stayed home to watch it on TV?  ;)  Just curious...

Don't worry, next weeks game is sold out, basically.  I know WVU is bringing a lot of fans, but they won't bring THAT many.  There will be well over 55K Bulls fans in the stands next week.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.
