I said it before and i'll say it again...take a Pep band to Rutgers!!

And...I love the band and all, but they were played on offense 3 times, which annoyed...

Oh, and let's not forget...the **** wave going around 4 times while we have the ball.  Yup...really smart.

What is it with the wave during offense. Few things annoy me more than that. Also, I heard a lot of people tellling people to sit down. I guess that's the proce you pay to get the casual fan to attend. UGH!!!!

I saw who started the wave.  These 2 stupid guys in hats...

I almost threw my phone at them... I was ready to just hit the guys.

They tried to start it before the game, didn't work.  Then they did it during the FIRST quarter!!  And kept trying again after that...I think the wave is the highlight of the game for them...pathetic.

The wave itself is not the problem. The problem is, it generates noise, so when we do it while we are on offense, it is counter productive.

Sitting in the south end zone, UNC's little drum and bugle corps was very loud.  I could have sworn their drum was amplified.

Sadly, it wasn't just the casual fan. More than a few Beef Studs, regular students and bandmembers were doing it. We have both represented on this board, I believe. I expect this situation to be rectified by Friday night ...

If we're unbeaten going into that game, we have to at least send a pep band!

Athletics knows that the HOT or a Pep Band is happy to go ANYWHERE for this awesome team.  The problem is, of course...$.  The downside for our Band being in the Big East is that we can't even bus to these big games.  Someone would have to pay for airfare, hotel, & perdiem for 50 students.

It's not cheap, but in my opinion - WORTH IT!  The only thing we can do is keep telling the fans to the let the 'powers that be' know how important it is to have the Band there.

BTW - I thought the student section was exceptionally loud on that big defensive stand Saturday...awesome moment!
