next year......retinal scans will be required. You heard it here first  ;D

Go Bulls!

I would trade a singular retinal scan at the gate for having to wear a bracelet for a week, have a ticket, a student ID, turn two effing keys at the same time, entering a secret access code, and dancing around naked while chanting "da bulls da bulls da bulls."

Making things more simple would attract students, which has been a topic much discussed here... But whatever, I'm over it. It won't last.  ;)

I dont get the whole wristband for a whole week thing. Why not just give me the **** band and let me put it on before the game? Or is to to keep kids from coming back for another ticket?

Nah, the scanner they use only lets for one ticket per ID (at least, that's what they are telling us, but could be saying that to discourage students for trying).

I see no logical reason for forcing students to wear the armband for the whole week.  It doesn't bug me personally, but still

I think the wrist bands are so that students aren't fighting their way into the stadium or fighting for spots in certain sections of the stadium. They don't want to turn 3,000 students away at the gate when they could have known they weren't getting in a couple of days earlier. I don't know if making you WEAR it is necessarily, but I think having them is.

Stop the ******** children.  At least you have a nationally ranked team to go cheer.  Those of us who were students in the 70's would have killed to have to wear plastic bracelets if it meant we had a team to cheer.  GET F'ING OVER IT.  If a plastic bracelet causes this much anguish in your life get in the fetal position now and save time.

Thus ends my crankiy old man rant.

I'm also pissed that I don't live in the area and have to depend on ESPN, Gameplan or other TV to see the games.

We've talked about getting back to being the toughest, most violent people out there. Let's be the best version of ourselves and really get back to the culture of how we (USF) used to step across the line and play anybody. Let's hold on to the culture of when they were tough … and they (opponents) knew it was going to be long damn day for themselves.

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
