I don't suppose I could convince a student to buy 2 companion tickets for me for the WVU game? I can't be at the Sun Dome @ 6am because I work. Stupid job. Makes me miss games!  :-\

Actually, sadly, my current job has prevented me from going to most games last year and likely this year. Even attending the WVU game will be tight as I have to work that day. *grr*

I called the ticket office.  These wristbands are for student ID's, only.  And each person must be present, as they put the wristband on you at that moment. Therefore, getting a wristband at 6am Monday morning means you have to wear it all week till the Friday night game.  My guess is they really didn't think this one through, tried to come up with some quick solution, and instead will cause a major screwup by gametime for WVU.

Im super annoyed about thsi right now.  It is a hideous lime green wristband.  See Orace for a photo.  THey are plastic and itchy.  I dont mind wearing it for one day before UNC, but a week before WVU will not be fun....yuck... I am already sick of it and I have had it on for only an hour...

Think of it as a badge of honor. Wait until NEXT Thursday when you are seeing thousands and thousands of these wrist bands on people around campus. It'll warm your little Gurlybull heart.

It's really gonna bother me if I go Monday and get tickets (companion tickets included) and we don't get wristbands for the companion tickets bought Monday

yea what if the companions arent present? how does that work?

this doesnt make much sense....why do they put it on you right then and there.

i can understand only giving each person 1 but no need to put it on right away.  if they lose it or give it away thats their own business.

I assume they are only giving out 8,000 wristbands for lower level seating - correct?  If that's the case and a companion can't get a wristband then companions must be relegated to the upper deck.  I sure don't want to be the security guy checking for wristbands in the lower sections.

I cut mine off to be taped on later...8000 green are given away for the lower bowl...4000 gold will than be given out for upper deck student seating if needed, had to wait in line 30 minutes for this band... I am camping out for the WVU tickets.
