I believe that Malcom Glazier made a presentation to Big East officials on USF's behalf for inclusion to the conference.  Maybe it was greed, for concessions, parking etc. but he still was one of the influential ones who lobbied on our behalf.  Cut the guy a little slack.

At the Rutgers home games, they have a cannon crew.  Granted it has more connection to a knight than a cannon would for us....However, the cannon crew is dressed in 1700 patriotic uniforms and nothing to do with knights.....

So, I like the idea of getting the ROTC involved in the game with a mini-howitzer on the field.  Make sure it's pointed or positioned near the visitor's section.  Everytime the Rutgers cannon went off, it scraed the crap out of me because I did not expect it.

I have always wanted to see an iconic U flag sailing from the ship at games. Also, I wish we could get a Bulls Head or something of the like to fit over the skull on the front of the ship. When we score, the bull head can have smoke coming from its nostrils (3 blows for a field goal, 6 for a td, 1 for an X pt, 2 for a two point conversion). And rather than shooting off the cannons, we could play the recorded sounds of bulls stampeding and snorting over the stadium speakers.  The more ways we can actually work in the existing infrastructure into our games the better.
