Volleyball Opens BIG EAST Play

TAMPA, Fla. – The University of South Florida volleyball continues its home stand this weekend when it opens up BIG EAST action on Friday and Sunday at The Corral.

The Bulls will welcome longtime rival Louisville on Friday at 7 p.m. and Cincinnati on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Both matches will be broadcast live – video and audio – on the USF Press Pass and the cost is $9.95 for the month. Live stats will also be available for all contests.

Riding an eight-match win streak, the Bulls are off to their third-best start with an 8-1 slate on the season, which is also the team’s best since 1996.

With USF seeking its second-straight BIG EAST Championship appearance, the Bulls will look to open the league slate strong before going on the road for two-straight weeks.

Louisville, a perennial power in the conference, is off to a slow start this season with a 5-4 record. The Cardinals have the advantage in the all-time series with USF, 17-6.

Cincinnati comes into this weekend’s contest with an 8-4 mark. After opening the season winning five-straight contests, the Bearcats have gone 3-4. USF has the edge in the all-time series, 9-6.
