I think it's just they got too excited after the touchdown preferred to celebrate in the endzone.

I would like to agree with bull roarer...4ave the gatorade for huge wins like big east titles, bowl games, beating the # 3 team in our house on 9/28 and taking our place hopefully in the the top 20 if not better.

Had we been leading in the game and held on to a win without going into OT I think there would have been a bath.

Given that it was an OT win that came in a matter of one play no one was expecting to win and planning a bath.

Personally I think the bath is overdone and needs to be retired just like the wave.

i concur, plus running on the field really makes it stick in the eyes of the tv viewers and the fans there

This is a good thread to post my thoughts . . .

We saw Leavitt confidently calm going in at halftime and no head butt injuries  ;D

After the game, Leavitt was quite calm.

I really feel expectations are high and players KNOW we can be Big East Champs if we keep our eye on the prize !

Go BULLS !!!

Am I the only one that has grown tiresome of the Gatorade bath?  I've been saying it for years, but someone has to invent a better way to celebrate.  This has been going on since the '86 Giants and Bill Parcells.  Please someone, for the love of Pete, invent another celebration................
