about the clip...i think Robert Smith was dead-on when he said its going to be different for us this year since we are more of a "marked" team now.  people are going to expect us to come in and give them all they can handle.  we just gotta step it up another notch

In 2005 Slaton was held to something like 85 yards with his worst ypc of his career.  But you can't say USF shut down White when he had TD's of 65 and 80 yards.  Don't get on the talking heads for not doing their homework if we overlook the facts when convenient.

Now in 2006 White and Slaton were completely boxed in combining for 60 yards on the ground.

I am always amused by this whole "sneak up on them" talk...as if these million dollar coaches dont watch every snap every year.

It is ridiculous that any team would not take our squad seriously just because some commentator hasn't overhyped us before the game.

They study us and know what we are capable of--- count on that. THe bigger question is can they contain or overcome what we can bring to the table (and the same goes for us against our opponents).

We have a tough schedule-- I just hope we haven't been given this huge love only to all flat on our faces in the actul games. It can happen just as easily as going undefeated can happen.

AND BY THE WAY--- that one internet question--- WAS THAT T-MAN?

I agree whole heartedly the media attention it's actually starting to scare me a bit.  And yes it was t-man and he gets hella props for getting his stuff on the air.

You're right, however, it's the players on the field that ultimately back-off / ease-up, not the coaches.  For example, CJL will harp and harp and harp about Elon, but if the players don't fully believe and understand everything he is saying, then they have a chance to not go out with 100%.

I'm sure Tuberware is making sure his players understand, but I bet you there are still some players on Auburn who are like, "South who??  Whatever..."  If we burn someone on a play it'll probably be a player that was saying that.
