Assuming we are kicking butt-- a decent presumption-- I can't see him playing more than the first quarter or 21-0 whichever comes first.

We need to make sure Gregory and some other arms get a lot of live reps just in case we run into an injury bug

Plus with the hip pointer-- why risk banging him around very much more than that?

Agreed. Halftime at the latest.

rather than points or quarters, I'm guessing he'll take the first four series.  then make way for gregory.

He'll stay in for as long as it takes the offense to fire on all cylinders. This is a tune up for the 8th.

No longer than a half. Grothe is the meal ticket, you can't let him get hurt in a tuneup game.

Agreed, He's not the kinda kid to get rusty in the off season...    I'd like him to punish elon just a little bit before the others step in.

I agree with outrunner, until it looks like their ready. Then I think I would have some rotation where ones and twos get some time together. Hopefully by the fourth quarter the threes and fours are still running sound plays.

GO BULLS!

Leavitt will only take him out when he feels like the offense is in sync.....pretty much what outrunner and BigShoop were saying.  Score isn't as important when deciding to take out Grothe.  CJL will make sure things are running nice and smoothly.....then he'll take him out.  But I don't see this lasting more than the first half.  Let's just hope.

Until he throws for a minimum of 2 and rushes for 1 - all while the other fellows (Jackson, Ford, and crew get theirs two).

37-10 final score.
