USF Magazine Radio Show

Not sure if any of you guys heard it, but I was on during the 6:15 to 6:30 slot.  From here on out they are going to have me on for either the entire hour and if I cant make it in the studio then I'll do a phone-in for about 15-20 minutes.

I talked to Bobby and I really want to make it into more of a listener call in show.  Also we will do quite a bit of recruiting talk, especially from October on when it really starts to heat up. 

Hopefully it will turn into something big and its certainly not been tried by any other stations.  I went on 1470 last year and 620, but they never devoted as much time to USF as 1010 is.  They are really stepping up to the plate and doing something different.  I know the USF fans will appreciate it and show support by listening and calling in.  Help make this a success and show the other stations that 1010 is ahead of the rest when it comes to USF.

For a first show it was well done.  Josh, you did a great job.

I think as the season gets underway the show will be more exciting.  Mike and Jim being USF alumni show a great deal of knowledge which hopefully will translate into greater interest in the football program by the more casual football fan in Tampa.
