Jim's responses...

1. Grothe is back.

2. Elon is good - look at McNeese last year. Colorado lost twice to I-AA.

3. We don't talk about promise, just work hard and see where it takes us.  Hard schedule.

4. Most teams we play we work on during the summer. Then during the season you just focus on that week.  Hopefully time you spent in spring and summer can jump start the preparation.

5. If we win out first few games, we'll probably be in the top 10.  Unlike most coaches, I don't focus on those things.

6. We give kids opportunity to play right away.  (Stealing kids from Big 3).  We aren't as deep as the other schools.  Our first team is pretty good, but we want to build depth.  [Also] Be part of history, play at Raymond James.  There's a lot of great points for USF.

Fisher and Boy were at the bowl game.  Talked about the "brutal" ECU fans.

7. "Big moment in our history." 

8. My goal is to make it to the press conference at noon.  (sounds like it was taped yesterday)

Fisher and Boy are going to make it to as many home games as possible this year.

USF Marketing has really pushed a lot of advertising on 97.1, and I think they're doing a great job trying to target this key demographic. In that regard, CJL was just interviewed by their morning show tag team, Fisher and Boy, and it was a really good segment. Fisher and Boy have been talking up the Bulls all week, and I believe, he has mentioned that he'll be at the game.

Overall, great segment and great exposure to the 18-35 demographic. Did anyone else on here catch the interview?
