They were just talking USF football......and about the USF vs Auburn game.

Mike Pepper picked USF over Auburn 17-16.

Just wondering if anyone else heard this?

Pepper was also saying that Auburn has one of the tougher opening schedules........Kansas St and USF back to back is not a walk in the park.  Helps that they are at home for those two games......but they still need to be on their toes.

Based on what I've seen on the AU boards (which means diddly squat), USF has no chance at all. 

It will definitely be a tough game, but we have the ability to beat the Tigers on their own turf. 

A big plus for us was that we beat WVU at their house, which has to be a confidence building factor for the Auburn game.

I think we have a chance, however I still believe it'll come down to us making no mistakes at all and Auburn committing a few, especially late in the game.  We also need to make sure WE don't get caught off guard via a trick play and/or fake kicks/punts.

If we lose, then I dont think we'll lose by more than 8 points.

Well with auburn, unc and wvu as 3 outta our first 4, We better be on top of our game as well...  I do however believe we have a good chance against auburn.

I caught it .... Pep also had a call from an Auburn buddy of his who made a pretty poignant point .... The national champs couldn't beat Auburn there last year. Not sure how many players the Tigers lost but picking us to win this game is going out on a thin limb .... but that's why you play the game.
