Unprecedented Radio Coverage for Bulls

Now I have no reason to ever change stations from 970 all day long!

620 is quickly becoming a dinosaur on my radio dial.

If you don't change it, you'll miss the Coach Leavitt show, as well as many other USF shows that will only be heard on 1010 Sports  ... I can't believe I just used some winking icon

I actually did catch your show the other day and heard some good USF talk!  It was refreshing to hear someone on the radio that actually knows about our team and is willing to talk about it.  My dial will be set to 1010 during the drive home hours for sure.  My only problem w/ the station is that it is the official station of the Yankmees

In addition to Coach Leavitt, a large contingent of the USF football team will be on hand to sign autographs and take part in the festivities.

I hope they are rested up from Saturday's Fan fest.    They were commenting in the paper about how many autographs they signed that day.

The additional 30 min for the pregame show is AWESOME for tailgaters......those that would usually head into the stadium an hour before kickoff now get a little sumthin sumthin to listen to while theyre packing up the grill and the coolers.

Great news, except for the part about 1010 being the home for CJL's call-in show.  What this means is that you have to be within a 20 mile radius of Seffner in order to hear the 100 watt signal this station puts out at night.  Ironically, you couldn't even hear the station when you were on the USF campus during nighttime hours.  It was dubbed 'Radio Free Seffner', since you had to tinker with your radio, stand on furniture and usie rolls of aluminum foil to create a parabola in hopes of catching a word or two....like a cold-war eastern European in hopes of getting something other than propaganda.

Hopefully, they've upped the power... or else it looks like I'm going to have to get in the car and travel in order to hear the show.

I believe we were on 970 AM last year ... not sure about the year before.
