In my class, my teacher was asking what days people could meet in their groups. She asked if Saturday was an option. Nobody raised their hand. A girl spoke up and said, "Yeah right, that's when our football game is". A lot of people agreed. The teacher responded that she was happy to hear that and expected the Bulls to be a top 10 team this year!

(But also predicted the Bucs would be top in the conference)

If she ever makes you go in on a Saturday get your revenge with a bad professor review

I feel you.  I teach classes at MCC in Sarasota and my class schedule this fall contains two Saturdays... neither are game days.  Otherwise my students get half the class off.

The Bucs could win their conference. Garcia is pretty decent, the line has improved, the defense filled some holes with new players--- anything is possible. Only team I truly am concerned about is the Saints--- but they have a tendency to find a way to screw themselves at some point as long as the Bucs are keeping things tight.

Your teacher is a die hard, god bless her...

Anyways I somehow ended up with a saturday class in the fall once...for 2 weeks and I dropped it.

Never do school work on saturday during football season. Ever! its not worth it. Grades wont mean a thing once you graduate.

That's a HELL NO. I think it's wrong for teachers to have anything mandatory outside of the class hours. I had a professor who had a mandatory retreat from Friday night to Sunday morning, the 2nd weekend of the semester. I flat out told him, I can't make it. I am already paid to be else where and I have to work. It just wasn't possible to make it on such short notice. I still got an A in the class.

...mandatory retreat from Friday night to Sunday morning...

Just out of curiosity, what sort of class would one take where a 'mandatory retreat' would be involved?

With the climate going on in NCAA athletics, you’re either moving forward at a hard pace or you’re not. I think what intrigued me the most is they’re very determined to become a big player nationally.
