After looking at both the Bucs and Bulls schedules, it looks to me like we'll have USF colors for only 2 games: West Virginia and Louisville.

Isn't it sad that we have to hope so hard for something so small?

Not as sad as worrying about such a minor detail when compared to the play of the game.

If we beat UL and WVU at home this year me and the rest of the country will not care if the Bad News Bears logo and colors are painted on the field.

I do not even remember if the field was painted when we beat UL 2 years ago; but I remember just about every play.

My pictures show that the field was not painted wit Bulls in the end zone. Just the white flag with Bulls logo and a faded Buccaneers in the end zone

THIS is the least of my worries about this entire season. People who give a rats ass about filed paint and uniform colors are missing the point completely when it comes to college football. ANd yes-- you can argue for days in you want but the entire argument is total BS

It's wrong to want things done correctly? It's wrong to want your favorite team to represent themselves in a classy manner? We're not asking for miracles here....

If I showed up at my job(UPS) wearing white socks, they would make me change them or I would go home. Why? Because that's not how the company wants to be represented. Yeah, I'm only 1 driver out of 40,000, and yeah I do a good job with what I do, but that's not the point. The point is, the uniform calls for brown socks. Period. End of discussion.

That's all people like are asking for, is the correct colors....the correct representation.

Does it bother me when I look at the worst helmets in the NCAA? Of course it does. Does it bother me when I see generic "USF" in the endzones instead of the correct "Usf" wordmark? Of course it does. But for you to say that I'm completely missing the point, as a fan of college football, you couldnt BE more incorrect in your assumption.

If you think for ONE SECOND that fans of Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State DONT care about uniforms/field paint, etc then you arent paying attention. I'm sorry, but it's true. Ohio St changed their uniforms last year and there was an uproar on their message boards, for and against. Just because you personally dont care, doesnt mean that it's not an issue.

Some people dont care about recruiting, some do. Some people dont care about the spring game, some do. Some people use the football game as a social event, some dont. Some people like to argue on USF message boards, some dont. Some people worry about uniforms, some dont. Some people look at your pictures online, some dont. None of us should judge other fans or consider ourselves "more of a fan" regardless of what we care or dont care about. We're all in this together. Let's act like it.
