yet another question...i just looked through the guide on brighthouse, and they have regular programming for that evening...hopefully, if its shown and the guide changes, it'll still record the channel, hmmm

He was referring to the on-screen guide on Bright House... and he's right. I set up my DVR manually to record from 7:00pm to 11:00pm (in case the game runs long).

Ah, I'm haven't joined the digital crowd yet ...... but at least he's got some hard evidence that they're definitely going to show it.

The real question is why is Gardner Webb-Ohio on Gameplan?  I can't believe there are too many people clammoring for that one.

I just spent an hour on the phone with a knowledgeable football fan/DirecTv worker, and he says they do NOT have the game slated for broadcast. Brett... Greg... Anyone with a clue for us out of towners? Please help!!!!

If you go to the programming section and check on saturday at 7pm it shows that

Elon vs USF is on gameplan channel 782

They also had it on "GamePlan" on the scroll during College football Live segment that Grothe appeared on. 

It also appears on DirecTV now, for the first time...

i just ordered it from directv.com, $21.95 for a single day/game.  i have a feeling, if the season goes well, our other games will be picked up by espn or espnu (espnu is part of the 'sports' package on directv).  to make it worth buying the entire season, we've got to have five games on gameplan, i'm not sure that will happen.

Slaterson... you can pay $21 and some change for one game... or shell out a hundo for about 10 games every weekend. Some you'll watch... some you won't... It is a great investment!!!
