Extend the legacy: For some reason, Bull(s) fighting in Tampa was not Petrino's thing. He was 0-2 vs. USF in sunny Fla. Here's a chance for Kragthorpe to improve on the legacy.

Return to reality: South Florida beat Louisville in 2005 and won at West Virginia in 2006 and has 16 starters back. The Bulls could win the Big East.

My guess: Louisville 28, South Florida 27

I have a feeling there are going to many close games this year.  I don't know how I will handle the emotional roller coaster this year.

Why is that guy trying to predict the USF v. UL game in August??? There are many factors that will play into that ball game...lets just say I know our guys and our fans will be ready when UL comes to town.

yea who knows if we will be playing against Mr Glass aka Brohm or if it will be Cantwell (although there isnt much of a drop between the two)

still way too early for any kind of predicition.  but i guess everyone is just excited about the season.

I am marveling at the various assessments of how many returning starters we have.

The truth...8 offense, and 7 defensive from the bowl (it would have been 8 if Verpaele wasn't injured).

However, we have 13 offensive players that have multiple starts to their credit- Ben Williams, Amarri Jackson, Taurus Johnson, Grothe, Dile, Walker, Huners, Griffin, Capogna, Carnes, Schmidt, Edwards, Cedric Hill.  On defense it is 12- Moffitt, Selvie, Buie, Clebert, Cray, Harris, George, Robinson, Carlton Williams, Gachette, Jenkins, Trae Williams.  It would be 13 if you included Tyrone McKenzie's 12 starts for ISU last year.
