Talked to CJL about Taylor and the status of his hardship waiver. His response was "We should hear soon. I hope he gets it." I then asked what he thought of Taylor. He kind of chuckled (not a joking chuckle, but more of a you have no idea type of chuckle) and stated, "He is good, really good."

Oh man, I'm pissed at myself.  I passed # 33 a bunch of times and couldn't recall who 'Taylor' was.  I should have studied the roster earlier. 

Side note, sorry I missed you ET and Gene.  I saw Jim and he said you were around.  Saw Mutt and Allison, and baby Mutt (that doesn't sound right and definitely doesn't do her justice).  I just get the feeling that Mutt knows me, but never remembers my name.............I need a jersey with the name on the back!!

Talked to Taylor also and he indicated "Monday or Tuesday" on the decision.

JoeB I'm also embarrassed to admit I didn't know some of the players/numbers but we had Frank (keeping score behind home plate) with us and he knew most of the answers.

Sorry I missed you also Joe and sure I missed many others ... 4got that the jersey I had on still had B. Hall on the back, Gurlybull actually reminded me.

Unfortunately I think Taylor's chances are not even 50/50 ... he's very special, but think we'll have to wait another season to witness his magic.
