Baseball Alumni Tailgates Begin Sept. 1

TAMPA, Fla. – University of South Florida baseball coaches will be hosting an alumni tailgate event prior to each home football game this season, beginning with the Sept. 1 Elon game, which kicks off at 7 p.m. at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa. 

A tent with food and beverages will be located in Lot 6D, on the south side of Raymond James Stadium. The tailgate parties will begin three hours before game time and end 30 minutes before kickoff. 

Each alumnus will be given one complimentary ticket for the game, and additional tickets can be purchased at the discount price of $15, with a limit of four. All requests for additional tickets must be made by Monday prior to the game. For ticket information, contact Paul Leistner at PLeistner@admin.usf.edu or call him at 813-974-6885.

Our softball team is doing this as well at the same location.  So if there are any softball alumni, call Amber Wright who is coordinating for them.  We hope to eventually have every team do this or have it be part of our new varsity club.
