This topic is actually a relief. Even today the boards have been really slow. I was wondering if it was my internet connection and started the process of getting in contact with my apt complex heads to see what was going on. But maybe it's not the connection after all, which is kind of a relief.

But I hope people aren't turning away because of it. You just have to have a little patience. Kind of like with the football team...

Any update on the whole cant browse to the forums via thebullspen.com? I have to go in to the board direct and cant navigate to any other boards without a big hassle. I heard someone else who was having this problem and stopped posting because they thought the board was broken. I'd hate to consider how many potential new members have turned away simply because they couldnt get to the forums from the URL.

Can you PM me the error message you get and what you're trying to do??  (The cookie that is set when you login is for "thebullspen.com" not "www.thebullspen.com" - if that helps.

The harsh reality is that if the performance of the server continues to be this slow, the site will lose traffic and another site will pop up with a USF forum. I think the folks here do a great job and I wouldn't trade it for the world, but you guys have to get this site moved over to a more reliable server. Trust me, I know. I run a high-profile web site and my forums have outgrown at least five servers since 2001.

We are going to get this resolved.  I did not expect a return to the creepy crawly stuff I am seeing today...Please stay with us and be patient.  We will either move to a new hosted server or buy a new server, whatever it takes.

I just made and had my dinner, which included...

1. Growing my veg.'s from seed

2. Raising my own chickens

3. and Baking my own bread

All in the time it took my post to go thru  :ROFLMAO
