HOW TO BEAT THEM

The Bulls, like so many warm weather teams don't like bad weather. Specifically, if possible play them on a cold day. The Bulls are only 1-5 when the temperature is below 40 degrees. A testament to how infrequently warm weather teams travel late in the season and how poorly they react.

Their defensive line last year wasn't nearly as impressive as it would seem. They were aided by an excellent linebacker corps that played up since there was plenty of trust in the secondary. Expect more of the same, but with two of the three linebackers from last year gone, running the ball at the defense should be more successful.

Their offense last year was Matt Grothe. He did it despite a patchwork and sometimes shoddy receiving corps because he could take off at any time. The receivers should be better but Grothe is most dangerous when he starts to improvise. Keep Grothe in front of you and don't let him start scrambling.

The defense was THAT good!, as far as I am concerned, I ignore an article like that one.  We just have to continue to show what we can do.  Eventually the respect will come.

It says the defensive line wasn't that good (or, at least, not as good as "it would seem"), not he defense as a whole.

Every boob out there has a preseason prediction or some time of team analysis.

This article means nothing to me.  The only thing I paid attention too is the 1-5 record in temps 40 degrees or below.

We need to improve on the road......which I believe we are doing.  The cold curse is the same problems that teams face from up north that play us down here in the nasty heat.
