jim, what is the extra cost for the HD DVR receiver from bright house per month?  i already have digital cable.

It's not that much if you already have a digital box... might be something like $5 more per month for the DVR... and you can store up to 40 hours of programming ...

You also get picture-in-picture and the ability to record on one channel and watch another...

You can pause and rewind live TV... great for pausing movies to hit the can or kitchen... or doing your own instant replays on sporting events...

You can't do things like TiVO -- program via the Internet -- but it's great and it's affordable.

I have been really impressed with the coverage we've been getting from Catch 47 this year. THey have been giving the Bulls more coverage than any other school in the state-- most of the time leading the Xtra segments with stories about USF football.

I've been so impressed, I'm transferring the Tivo recording to my laptop in order to burn them to DVD for safe keeping.
