What time is everyone planning on getting out and tailgating for AU

We will be eating in Columbus as well (Hampton Inn continental breakfast FTW!) and heading over to the Auburn game with the USF guys at the hotel.

Which reminds me, do we have a set plan for that day?  I would like to have everyone from the Hampton Inn Columbus caravan down at the same time...

We will be out there super early on Saturday.  Staying the night in Opelika Friday and Saturday.  Saturday morning around 8 or 9 we will set up camp somewhere as close to the stadium as we can find.  We'll have enough food, water, beer, etc to last use until and after game time.  We also might watch a movie in the new Xtera.  Sweet!!  Hope to see everyone there.

We are leaving Tampa around 7am Saturday.  Dropping off our stuff in Columbus around 3-4.  Make it to Auburn hopefully by 5 and relax before the game.

We tentatively plan on having the direct TV dish out there to watch the early games.  Any Bulls fans will be welcome to check it out (and Auburn fans if they pay us in booze).

Def. camping out. Word of mouth on the boards says that it sucks trying to get out of there after the game. Also with us pulling the upset i'll want to drink up and take in what just went down. As for which lot, i'm not sure. I'll have to find that parking lot map someone posted. I'll PM you and maybe we can get our own version of Duke's camp village that they set up for bball games.

I emailed someone at Auburn that handles that stuff and they told me that we could camp out on the south side of the intersection of Lem Morrison and Donahue Drive, on either side.  There is a shuttle that takes people to and from the stadium.

The bigger question is where are you going to tailgate?  A shuttle offers service to a few off campus locations, we have no clue what to expect the parking/tailgating situation to be like.  If anything like UF, there is plenty of places around campus to park and tailgate, but that is the only thing I have to base it on.

Bear in mind the game will end after Midnight... and it will probably be after 2 AM (maybe closer to 3AM) before you get back to the hotel in Columbus...
